Forum config: Signature size limit

When did signatures get restricted to just a measly 127 characters? Even double that would still be tiny. Oddly, it allows two pictures in the sig. So transmit amount obviously isn't an issue.

    I believe that was slowly reduced over time in response to complaints about oversized signatures and rules/fair-play/common sense abuses.

    Feel free to debate what the modern day limits should look like- happy to seek permission to make adjustments if there's a majority agreement.

    And how much is that?
    This was written by a mascot for the actual name on the account, I used both paws to hit the keys and carefully had help from my son, another mascot.

    Was 7bit, now 8. So extended to 255 chars.
