Nextion JonnyMac"s wk 3 HMI file clock not working pixels work flawlessly ?-Resolved

I have a nextion model#NX48332K035-011(enhance).
Loaded nextion with compiled TFT file (Wk-3). When I ran the HMI file the home page was loaded.
I Proseed to enter the date (HHMMSSD format) .
The date came up on the screen ans semi-colon was missing and the clock was not active.
When the pixel control was pressed the pixel control came up and the pixel control worked
flawlessly - all buttons and the sliders functioned well.
Hardware : jonnymac board (wire exactly to pixel controllers I/O pins). , RTC-ds3231, pixel string(50),nextion display as described earlier.
I would appreciate some help to resolve this issue.

PS:The RTC is working tested with another time file.
The RTC in the nextion - in-active (no battery installed)
unable to upload a zip.picture file( too large).

I resolved the issue myself it took a little while.
The issue was I powered the nextion display as they
suggested via the provided power connector with usb power connection to
ensure adequate power to nextion display.
I tried many times resetting the propeller and it did not work.
Once I powered the nextion display via the jonnyMac board
the nextion display worked as it was intended , the time was
displayed and the pixels worked and re-setting the RTC worked.

You can use separate power supplies, but ground must be common between the P2 and the display. You did not mention separate power for the Nextion in your first post -- this is an important detail. Thankfully, you found it and fixed it. Have fun with the Nextion; they're really neat.
