  Jon,
  You might try one of those tiny USB Wifi, Bluetooth or microSD plugs. They are extremely small. Just solder your power cable to the correct pins and cut the pcb tracks to all pins so there is no connection to whatever is on the pcb.

  Check Avnet, Mouser or Digikey ooops. wrong gender. edited. check also tyco electronics. i know they make (and I have) a mini, but not sure of micro male plug.
