I have the original grey version which is vintage and worth far more than those cheesy new blue ones! Anyone want to offer me millions for mine? Or I'll consider an Apple 1 in trade. :-)
This is the difference - "Product Change Notice - This product documentation is for the Propeller Professional Development Board Rev B. This revision added an extra ground terminal block to the top left of the board to make it easier to connect more than 2 scope probes. A VIN socket was added below the power switch, and additional 5 V and 3.3 V sockets were added to opposite corners of the board. The VGA connections were rearranged to make them consistent with the Propeller Demo Board wiring and pre-existing objects. The PCB color has changed from gray to blue. Schematics for both Rev A and Rev B boards are available from www.parallax.com. "
Whit, That looks like a nice find on eBay. I like the words "never used", better than anything slightly misused. I don't think the blue revision B are any cheesier than the grey revision A board's, how could they be. Maybe you could spell out "CHEESY" on the seven segment numerical display.
EDIT: Sorry I see that revision A grey board has alpha numeric display. Green is prettier than grey anyway.
Oooops, spoke too soon! Looks like he has three more on the sale page!
But no motors with the encoders on them.
Worse than costco! If ya see it and think ya want it, better git it while it's there or.........
Hopefully given the destination of one PPDB, hopefully it will not be going in a hand basket even though an idiomatically correct conveyance.
