Delete Account/Profile

Is there a way to delete my account/profile on here? I searched the settings and profile pages but I can't find that option. Maybe, I missed it?

    You can change your profile all you like from your account, but to delete your account would take an administrator. I will send a PM with the email address.

    I have to ask, why would you want to delete your account?
