What the heck???? Canada gets a Happy Canada Day from Parallax but no Happy 4th? I will fill that void and wish everyone on the Forums and everyone at Parallax a Happy and SAFE(@erco) 4th Of July.

It is a bit early to be concerned, isn't it... the day is young. Maybe Hurricane Arthur is dampening spirits. May even hit NYC soon. And locally, we have a typhoon incoming toward Taiwan.
My own excuse is that I forgot to reset the date on my calendar watch. It says Friday, July 3rd.

I guess because Parallax was closed yesterday and today, and all the employees are out flying their Elev-8's.

Oh oh, 58 minutes too late. Sorry about that, long and busy day. Well then happy 5th, 6th.....31st of July to you all.
Our little town does nothing to celebrate the 4th. They can't even bothered to raise the Stars and Stripes at city hall. The do, however, publish a bit in the local newspaper telling you which other towns in the area are celebrating!
To be fair though, the lack of local fireworks isn't a huge loss. Folks in the area put on a rather impressive display with their "illegal fireworks". AH! 1:30 AM and another explosion rocks the night! :-)

I've checked with our Benevolent Overlords (aka CARB) and found that I will be allowed to light my BBQ to grill the celebratory beast. Whoohooo!

Allow me to give you a high four! JK...
Unfortunately, not everyone can say that. Several people were maimed this holiday. What a loss.

...well, the idea is to light the fuse and GET AWAY.
I would have posted you a Happy July 4th but everyone at Parallax was off enjoying their extra-long 4-day weekend!
Happy belated 4th of July.
