I think I'll wait and see how much the new FPGA board they are working on will cost...
Sounds like it will have extra features that will make it much better than the DE2-115 board.
I just spoke with Jeff and he's through with the DE2-115 documentation for loading the P2 core and using the adapter board. His goal was March 15th, so he's ahead of schedule.
We will be very happy to take your money shortly! After all, an investment in Parallax is an investment in one's self.
I'd say you'll be able to get both of these parts within a day or two at this point.
There's a new post I made in the announcements section you Prop 2 guys might want to check out...
Any word on the progress of Parallax's Cyclone V board? I recall a May/June timeframe being mentioned, is that still looking ok? I may make the leap to the DE2 if your FPGA is significantly delayed but I don't want to spend the money for only a couple months of head start.

Hey Bart!
Yes, we're doing our best to meet the deadline you mentioned, but at this stage it's looking more like June. The schematic, land patterns and power supply of our own FPGA board are really eating up some design time. Daniel is doing a very professional and methodical job, but the board isn't running towards production just yet. However this doesn't surprise me- we've made two FPGA boards before and they bring new challenges in layout and manufacturing.
Please do feel free to check back with us for updates. We'll tell you whatever we know, at the time. We don't play by strict deadlines, but we're full speed on this one. We hope to have 1,000 Propeller 2 FPGA users before ASIC.
Mine should show up Thursday evening....I'm starting to feel a little under the weather.....where's that note I wrote for the last emulation release???

Just waiting for the boards to show up somewhere online. : ]
"Take my money!" *lol*

No, SERIOUSLY,
Are we ready for release yet??? Chip is going to have a new DE2 image yet...it would be nice to have a new DE2 to run it on!!

Enjoy!
Yes, well spotted - one is called DE2 and the other is DE2-115..
Yes, good catch!
Sorry about that, we found ourselves without any good pictures of the full board. We'll update it soon.
