Maker Faire New York Sept 29-30 UPDATE

I just called Parallax to see if they where going to attend, and they said they where. I enjoyed seeing everyone last year with the roll-out of the Eddie.

It's really convenient for me as it's only a one hour drive.

Only a day and a half to get reduced tickets:

I can't make it, Jim. But I just wanted to show that SOMEBODY saw your post and replied... :)

    Have fun!

It's in my neighborhood, so I'll be there both days.

The Parallax Booth at Maker Faire New York is #29.
If you are in the area, please stop by and stay hello to our crew!

    Cheers, JJ

Thanks for the booth number Jen. I called two days ago, and no one knew.

At least Jay and I will be there. My second year.

And I'm bringing someone I hope to convert. :)

    UPDATE:

The Parallax boys were out with a new "Skunk Works" prototype today.

Pretty cool controller worn on the wrist with a joystick in hand. Basic XBEE signal to PropBOE on the board to receive the throttle signals.

And yes, erco, it IS plywood. I bite into it just to make sure! Matt must have been off that day.

The Parallax booth was pretty crowded. I think the Quad and Hex Copters drew a pretty good crowd. That's why I didn't take a picture of the booth, I spared you at looking a the back of people's head's. :)

Nice Parallax booth and great presentation and demonstration of the 'copters. Got rained out for a little while earlier in the afternoon.

I was in New York for about 10 days and had some time on Sunday afternoon, arrived just as it started to rain, and stayed 'til closing.
