cheap / free FOR profit . PCB CAD SW
Hi
I am looking for some advice on MAC PCB routing SW ..
I Do not have access to a Windows computer I install stuff on.( the schools are locked )
I had a program back in the dos days called CirCad and it was simple and lovely !
http://www.holophase.com/
I was thinking of useing a GIMP with some pre made templates for the DIPS and other componites as All I do is print them out and etch .
but there is not a "auto route" feture in GIMP LOLs
Any Ideas are welcome . but It needs to be OS 10.5 X86 based ..
and be able to used in a For Profit evroment ..

Update: Here is a page that lists other options:
www.mactech.com/articles/mactech/Vol.20/20.05/ElectronicHardware/index.html
but $195 for the Osmond SW is doable. My goal was under $200
and the osmond seems simple enough for a non cad proficient user ..
Thanks Yall .sooo much !!
I etch by the toner transfer method so its a snap to make small PCBs ..
No more Sharpy and a straight edge !

Get the latest tinycad beta (2.70.00), it works pretty well. Moreover both should work under wine too.
