  I don't think it's replaced Newcastle's Maker Faire, as there have been other Mini Maker Faires in the UK. From what I've heard, Newcastle's Maker Faire is planning on moving the date from March to the summer months to allow for more outside exhibits but couldn't schedule this year due to scheduling clashes (Olympics I guess) but are planning on being back next summer.
  
  That said it would be great to see Parallax at any UK event.

  I would be happy to organise another be it in Manchester or Newcastle provided we can collaborate and do it together.
  
  There was some talk of OBC coming over to the UK to do some sort of show but it never really went anywhere which is a shame.
  
  My only gripe about going to a show like this and actually being on the stand means you miss out on actually seeing all the great stuff that people do!
