Can XBAND be more directional?

Is it possible to attach an XBAND motion sensor to one end of a metal can and create a more narrower 'beam' than it's default field of detection?

    Yes it has been done as someone mounted the xband inside a soup can. Search for cantenna as I think that is what the thread was called.
