Installation problems

When I go to install the BASIC stamp editor it completes the installation but when I go to run the program it starts at the beginning of the installation process. any ideas what could be going wrong?

    You're probably re-running the installer instead of the installed Stamp Editor. Make sure you're not clicking on a shortcut to the installer. Use the Start menu to find the Parallax folder and the copy of the Stamp Editor inside it.
