  I must be snoozin'...! How ironic that the seller links directly to the Parallax retail store website to download the drivers. The QS board is listed right near the top, priced at $25.
  
  Anybody want a similarly sweet deal on a BS2? I'll knock my price down to $150 for my Forumista friends. My loss is your gain.

  If he links to the Parallax site he must know the true cost, so he must be hoping for a greater fool. But are there people out there bidding on microcontrollers not knowing the fair market value?

  If it wasn't for the dollar price i'd have thought it was a UK dealer with their rip off "double the price of everywhere else"
  Hence why I find it cheaper to deal direct with Parallax from the UK
