is there any code that i can use to send normal music (including voice) to a speaker. i dont mean a piezo speaker, either. :zombie:

    Look at the Basic Stamp Syntax and Reference Manual or the Stamp Editor's help files in the section on the FREQOUT statement. Note that the Stamp won't produce much volume with a conventional speaker. The FREQOUT statement will produce simple tones and can produce simple monotonic music, but not complex sounds (including voice). With the limited speed and storage available, there's just no way to make "normal music" or voice without using specialized external hardware like an MP3 player chip.

    A Propeller can play .WAV files with any sound content and can also synthesize voices.

    thanks. ill look into the propeller, but its good to know that i can stop searching for something that doesnt exist.
