I'll be adding a feature, which will be followed up with more details about its use once it's all in place.
I won't be turning the forums off to make this change; however if you're making a new thread you will notice a slight change in your creation experience.

I had mentioned this before near the bottom of the OP of the following thread:
http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?128194

User controlled thread status bits.

    Ok, they're ready now.
What we've added are prefix options for your threads, we have some temporary images in place atm, but they will allow you (the thread originator) to change the status of your thread to different prefix choices.

    We've added:
Unsolved / Solved - Most forums feature this prefix, this is used when you have a question. It is similar to Open/Closed or Unanswered/Answered. If you post a question, mark it as 'unsolved'; if someone answers it, mark it as 'solved'
In Progress / Completed - Featured in the Projects Forum. If your project is still being made and you're just posting some teasers, us the In Progress prefix, if it is completed then mark it as such.
For Sale / Wanted / Sold - Featured in Parallax Classifieds... same style of logic used for these naming conventions.

When everyone uses these more regularly the other neat feature will become more apparent, but for now I can only hint at its usefulness. You can click on a prefix type and all the prefixes matching its type will be searched and displayed.

So if you wanted to find all the completed projects, click a [Completed] prefix... if you want to see all the unanswered questions click on an [Unsolved] prefix and so on.

Go to your original post and click on the edit post icon at the bottom right of the post. When the edit screen comes up, click on Go Advanced and you will see the Prefix edit box.
