Tiny digital mic - but how to communicate?

I have pilfered bits from a trash portable pc. One thing I found was this - a digital stereo microphone. Has anyone a clue about how to connect and communicate with this one. I would save two analogue channels if I could find a way.

The pcb print reveals there are 4 connections:GND, CLK, VDD, DATA. That's all I know.

It is a 6 year old post and the link does not work, but my guess (based on having a clk and data line) is that the chip is an adc or sound processor that outputs a string of bits for each of the two microphones. First thing to check is to see if the clk and data are active when power is applied.
