Is more tech better? Really? "Recoil" is brand new from Skyrocket Toys. The starter set is $130, so I guess we'll have to trust what the rich kids (early adopters) say about it. 
Just getting IR to work out in bright sunlight is a good trick. I think they have their work cut out if they expect to make a serious dent in the low-tech but proven NERF market.
Hopefully no cops ever mistake these toy guns for anything real.
