I just got some SSR's I won off eBay and I noticed the back·has a metal plate instead of plastic like the rest of the case.· Am I correct in assuming this plate is for attaching a heatsink?· The relays·are rated at 10A @ 220V.· Do I need a heatsink for them, if·they're running at a·load of about 50%·they're max?

Have you checked the spec sheet for the relay?
The metal plate may infact be the heatsink, I've not seen a relay with a heat sink mounted externally. If the relay gets too hot during operation, it may not be the right relay for the job.

    Hi All,
I have a siemens 9530, PD4437 display unit which I can not find the pin placement for. There are 10 a side and Siemans PDF showing the unit only shows the distance between the pins. The website also does not have a contact for e-mail questions. Has anyone here used this display unit and can help me with the pin configurations.
    Thanks Mark
