28820 DC motor control problem

Hello all. I am using the pololu dcmc 28820 with a propeller AB. I have everything set up the way is shown in the learn exchange... but nothing is happening.

Not sure if it's a defective board or not. First time using it so I hope not.

pwm_start (1000)

pwm_set (pin, pwm channel, 800)

included simpletools & abdrive
