Baldor or Leeson

whats up gents,

Im trying to find a motor but cant opt between baldor and leeson so Id figure I might try to ask here:

Single HP
1725 or 1800 RPM
Three Phase
TEFC preferred
56C frame size

Is one of the brands preferred regarding a smaller motor? Ill be shipping this to my place back home, when I get back so Id most likely order online.

    Don't have any experience with Leeson but I have installed several Baldor motors in equipment and have not had any problems with them.

    +1 for Baldor. Been a nice quality motor that I've used in quite a few replacement applications. At the time, they were even a bit more inexpensive than the Leesons. But it's been a few years, so I can't say if that's still true or not.

    I've used both in a industrial setting they are both good motors?

    Both have worked fine for me as well.
