18200 h-bridge question

I would like to drive a 2-coil solenoid valve using the 18200. The two solenoids, A & B, oppose each other.

I am thinking that the following should work:

Output #1 from 18200 to the +ve terminal of the DC solenoid coil "A" and the -ve coil terminal to ground.

Output #2 from 18200 to the +ve terminal of the DC solenoid coil "B" and the -ve coil terminal to ground.

The objective being that a change of direction on the amplifier direction pin will switch from A to B etc.

Is there any reason why this won't work?

Don't see any reason why it wouldn't work as long as the control signals are wired correctly.

Many thanks kwinn. I know that you have experience in this area. I am having my customer implement this device and I wasn't sure if the 18200 needed to sink what it was sourcing or otherwise fault out in some way.
