Forum issue: "Follows" stats disappear when logged in.

I just noticed that among the pile of numbers displayed on the forum we have "Follows". Presumably a count of how many people are somehow following the thread. I never noticed it before because I'm normally logged in all the time.
And that is the issue: "Follows" statistics show up in a column when not logged in. After logging in that column no longer appears.
"Follows" is kind of useful as you can see if you have posted a load of twonk that nobody cares about or perhaps something a little bit interesting to somebody.
How come they don't show when logged in?
