modem

does anyone know of another modem to use with the basic stamp
i want to use a microphone to make the sound of the modem audible and then have another pick it up and decode the sound
this is for art porposes so i am trying not to use bluetooth or other wireless comunication

The PBASIC Stamp with work with any modem that's "Hayes compatible", meaning most common modems. If you're looked for an embedded (small footprint) modem, Cermetek makes some nice embedded modems. Here is a link to their web site:
