I have the 28004 receiver from the Parallax web site.

I am only getting 3.5 v from OUT1 and OUT3.· I am getting full voltage, 4.96, from OUTs 2,4,5.·

This is directly out of the pins on the module not after going through other wiring.

What gives?

    Are all the I/O pins connected to the OUTs configured as inputs?

    Yes but that doesn't matter because I am taking a reading directly off of the module pin.

    Disconnect the I/O pins and see if you get the same results.

    It is the same.

    But that begs the question, what if was only when it was connected?

    How are you supplying +5VDC power to this receiver? Is this module mounted in/on a breadboard or on a PCB of any sort? Is the ground on the receiver and the ground on the Stamp common? If not, it shoud be when it's in normal operation.

    Well I guess I had a bad ground or something because after taking it out then plugging if back in it works just fine.· Thanks
