Stamp wish list Basic needed.

I will say it again and as many times as necessary STAY WITH BASIC. If
people want to program in other low level languages fine they can jump ship
and go to any one of a number of clones out there now. I happen to hate C++
Assembly,ADA and all the rest of the low level software codes. The biggest
number one reason Parallax has such a following is because of Basic.
Parallax would just be another microcontroller if they had not developed
Pbasic. The other Microcontrollers claim to have basic clones but they do
not,they are cludgy software hacks at best.
I am not ashamed to admit I program in Basic. I wish others would be willing
to admit this fact as well.

I'm not saying that there is anyting wrong with basic in general,
it's just the form of basic derived into PBasic is
absolutely disgusting. I too would rather program in Basic over
assmebly, but the current version of PBasic could use some major
improvments, such as alowing funcion calls, subroutines with
arguments, better loops, and most importantly of all a better IF...
ELSE structure. If you added these things, I would have virtually no
major complaints about the language.
