FLIP programming

I've just ordered a FLIP. Do I need something other than Propeller Tool Software to program it? What is the difference between it and PropellerIDE?

Propeller Tool will be just fine. That was created by Parallax in-house developer.

PropellerIDE is an alternative IDE that adds some extra features and themes. I think the choice comes down to personal preference.

Might be worth to try both, if you have time for that. Otherwise, sticking with Propeller Tool might be simpler.

Thanks. I may give IDE a try but for right now will stick with PT.
