This is just the kind of thing I want to do with a P2.
Cool project. I'm loving all these lean fabrication techniques and ideas coming out. FWIW, a few friends and I are working on a startup centered on additive manufacturing and will also be coupled with small scale, lean traditional manufacturing. Mill, laser, etc...
The idea is making things to satisfy 100, 1000, 10,000 market sizes. One can make whole, full featured manufacturing cells for what machine tools used to cost.
P2 is very well aligned with all this too. May be possible to make a whole stand alone ecosystem.
IMHO, this stuff is increasingly high value as current economic trends continue to play out. Exploiting small, but sustainable niches could benefit a whole lot of us.
