For some crazy reason there is only two lines to work in.
When editing a post in source code mode, it's a real mental effort to visualise the location of both layout and sources and also remember the exact instructions that aren't on display.

Err, it is just two edit lines at the bottom of the topic also. When refreshing after enabling scripting it changes to a bigger edit box.
Bugs or errors resulting from users personally choosing to disable scripts, cookies, etc, will not be addressed as they likely wouldn't be experienced if the sites were browsed as intended. If there is evidence that they persist after enabling expected scripts/cookies/etc and refreshing, please let us know.
For the reasons stated above, I will not be adding this the forum issues list. Sinking this thread.
Besides, scripting should never be a requirement on any website. The only time it should be a requirement is for limited features that have no HTML equivalent. This forum software is fully functional without scripting. It is clearly built to be used without scripting.
Also, there is some users, namely Android ones, that currently have no choice because scripted editing is not compatible. Scripting has always been a major source of compatibility issues.
Remember that the standard Android browser can handle complex stuff as e.g. Javascript-based CPU- and microcomputer emulators without issues (except speed), so it's not like the Android Javascript support is crippled. Still, this site does not work.

As I stated, if issues arise while using these forums as we intended, those problems will be addressed. I will add to the issues list that Android users are restricted to raw mode for editing; I have seen that mentioned periodically by multiple users and I doubt that is intended design.
