Hello!
On Wednesday I ordered a BASIC Stamp 1 ( https://www.parallax.com/product/bs1-ic) and a BASIC Stamp 1 Carrier Board (https://www.parallax.com/product/27110 ) and of course this all important fellow, BASIC Stamp 1 Serial Adapter ( https://www.parallax.com/product/27111 ).
All traveled here via 2 Day Priority Mail (Kudos to the Sales Department, and a big bouquet of (virtual) flowers, roses of course to Jen.) and arrived today. I then set up everyone on a Pro Developers board.
I used the RFID kit from last December plus the two rectangular tags and the four tags also bought Wednesday. I then tried out the first BS1 example, it worked. I then stuck the LCD display in position and instructed it to display what the reader did when it saw a tag.
This was the second BS1 example, and naturally it worked as advertised.
Its nice to know that ideas from a while ago work.
Now if anyone wants to know why I bought that Stamp, please feel free to PM me.
