My team is building a robot for a competition and we are using the AP-16+ audio player. We have a BS2 micro controller to hook to the audio player. We cannot figure out what serial lines to actually hook up between the two. Any help would be appreciated.


We have very little robotic knowledge.

There are 6 serial input pins on the audio player. What I am asking is basically what pin to connect to our controller.

    I am using the BS2p-40 and have been trying to find out that info as well, any help would be appreciated. I assume we only need one pin from the basic stamp for both the TX and RX and a ground between the basic stamp and the AP-16+.

    Hi, looking at the board it seems that the three pin connector (J connector) labelled serial is also marked with the letters B R W above it. The letters correspond to an optional jumper cable, black (B) being ground red (R) being positive and white (W) the signal .
