Propeller BOEn Pin ?

Ok, what exactly does the BOEn pin do?

Presumably BOEn would say, "Ok chip, if voltage falls below a certain level reset."

Referencing the Propeller Data Sheet ...
Shutdown Procedure said...

Shutdown mode is discontinued when the voltage level rises above the brown-out threshold and the RESn pin is high.
Pin Descriptions said...

BOEn Input
Brown Out Enable (active low). Must be connected to either VDD or VSS. If low, RESn becomes a
weak output (delivering VDD through 5 k&#937;) for monitoring purposes but can still be driven low to cause
reset. If high, RESn is CMOS input with Schmitt Trigger.

So does all this mean RESn will be driven low in event of a brownout?
