Prop Tool 1.06 and Vista

Hello,
I had some problems with using the latest prop tool under Windows Vista.
I first installed V1.05.5 which seemed to work. I then installed V1.06 which
stopped executing as soon as the GUI would open. And by "stopped" I really
mean "stopped" - I had to use my pc's reset button a few times [noparse]:)[/noparse]
I - finally- got it going by installing the software not in the programs folder but
some other place and by starting the setup and later also the prop tool as an
administrator (which is probably the core of the whole problem).
Well.
I may add that I have occasionally thought about reinstalling XP [noparse];)[/noparse]
