Need help with search?

Need help with search please. I am trying to search the forums for help with my issue, won't belabor the point here. But I put "toshiba" in the search field, search for "posts", 50 max, "all forums", "last 6 months" and it shows "no matching records"?

I can readily see a post in the BASIC Stamp forum, by daveleb55, yesterday that has the text:

"yes, it's a toshiba laptop running XP, I did install the drivers on both. My friends laptop, also a toshiba, exhibits the same symptoms. I'm thinking I may have either wired something wrong, or left out something..."

yet the search finds nothing?

Thank you ahead of time for whatever dumb thing I am doing wrong.
