I'm working on an alarm using the BS2. It will sense a beam of IR across a doorway
and if that beam is broken, the BS2 will emit a 4000 Hz tone for 1 second.
bugg

I tried the same thing, except that I used a laser pointer running off of a AC/DC power supply, and a·photoresistor to detect if the beam was interrupted.· When it· was it set off an alarm that didn’t turn off.·

If you want to increase the volume of a "raw piezo" (i.e no internal piezo circuitry), then
see my reply in the "Stamps in Class" section several months ago about amplifying a piezo speaker.
I hadnt thought of this.we can put more than 2 ir leds.so ,thanks for the help on amplifying. In addition we can put a microphone and other sensors.the only thing we've to do is·to make the suitable programm.
