    Default Miniature Damper

Can any of you direct me to a component supplier who might have
miniature linear or rotary dampers? Actually a spring loaded damper
would be even better, but I am really having a hard time finding
    those.

    Thanks

I was using some of those about ten years ago. The company that sticks
in my head was AirPot. It's an air damper (like a tiny shock absorber).

check out a company called 'airpot'. You should be able to find them on the
internet. They make these types of devices (dashpots)from very small to
    industrial size.
