Default Kit Converts Cars to Remote Control: Meh

A "Game Changer" award winner from RoboBusiness last week. From what I see, it's an erector set with some servos/actuators for steering, accelerator & brakes. Sour grapes, but IMO several of us here could have done better.

Pretty cool. I don't think they are Erector as they are thicker than Erector parts.

@erco - Some cool bots in that second listing! I particularly like the great big version of the Quad-Rover - The Clearpath Robotics' Grizzly Robotic Utility Vehicle!

@Andy - I think old erco was ever so sightly exaggerating his case...

The autonomous firefighting plane-drone is certainly interesting: http://www.roboticsbusinessreview.co...efighting_uas/

I saw this same thing on Mission: Impossible in 1968. Barney did it MUCH better, though at one point something jammed and the truck with the explosives almost ran into a government building. All was good at the end, though. Whew!

Er...remind me again why we're putting driverless cars on the highway.
