Kimono :- Second of a desktop Swarm
Purpose:- Tabletop autonomous robot to negotiate saki glasses.
I made a copper ring and attached IR Leds and IR detectors to its periphery.
Basic GM mini motors and a now modified Glowstick debug handle.
I am using one of MBA consultings propeller M44D40+ boards , which fits perfectly.
Here is one of the IR clusters
The Right hand clear LED fires Infrared light directly to the floor.
The dark Led is the IR detector and this picks up the reflected light.
So normally it is always fired......until it tries to go over a cliff ,whereby the detector detects
and lights up the white LED about the detector (for debug and Arty look)
, of course the relative avoid falling of the cliff routine kick in to save the day .....YAY
As well as "Cliff Detect" it also has two forward corner pointing sensors to avoid the "Chink" with the Sake Glasses.
Problem is i need someone to donate some Sake glasses and/or Sake for further experimentation.....
