Thread: How to Unlink a Given Text?

  1. #1

    Question How to Unlink a Given Text?

    I tried selecting it and relinking it with no url but the url still stays with the text. Aside from deleting and reformatting it, is there a solution?

    Just delete the "[url]" or "[url=http://www.whatever.com]" and the "[/url]" tags from each side of the text.

    Did you try it? There are no url tags visible on the edit. Deleting the link does nothing.

    I'll try it now. Here's two links;

    Parallax

    Parallax

    I posted the same link twice then deleted the tags on the second.

    However with these next two, the tags are added automatically.

    http://www.parallax.com

    www.parallax.com

    To prevent that use the "[noparse] and [/noparse]" tags.

    http://www.parallax.com is written as "[noparse] http://www.parallax.com [/noparse]"

    www.parallax.com is written as "[noparse] www.parallax.com [/noparse]"

    I hope that made sense.
