The code and the schematics specifically. messy code is fine by me. :)
Hi Duane -
Do you have an estimate as to when you can get more details about this project up?
Thanks.
I'll try that again... that might be it. I was using the setup commands, but i'm probably typing them in wrong.
I was using the parallax serial terminal.

see attached
I have the 3 pin header connected to power and gnd. PropPlug on the proper header. I can program fine, and the overlay demo checks out... trying to send commands through the terminal modified for hte...
Thats what i did... so,im not totally crazy. It did have an issue identifying the chip in BST, so I'll try my other computer.
I'm having issues interfacing the propellor backpack with my PropPlug usb to serial device. I wish to control a video overlay system, and later wish to add animated graphics overlay (such as done in...
count me in
We have used a pyle monitor in one of our robot controll boxes... when using it with a camera, the quality is decent. I have used it with a propellor as well, and it works well for that. the motion...

here is a tutorial. yes it is an arduino, but the same will hold true with a bs2 or prop.
i like it as well.
as for your new edit, leave the post. it will later help others searching for the same solution.
Are you offering the 360 controller up? If so, does it work? Id like that. have some robotics control project that needs one.
Checking my "giveaway" pile. I'll post my offer later.
ohhh.... pick me. im in
have you seen this post? http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?106716-MLX90614-sensor-driver
im in. id prefer the prop items, but will take whatever.
cleaning out my bookmarks, and found this: http://www.ohscope.com/2009/02/serial-port-on-iphone-with-minicom.html

see this blog post. the yelp engineering team used an ipad with a serial connection to control a kegbot (sorry if link...
count me in! i have some awesome ideas for a robot arm controller using one of these.
Im happy to adapt or create code. My hesitation to go down to individual components stems from someone whom i worked with in the past year on this past project, who decided that every piece of the...
I'm looking into some new control options for an underwater ROV controller. Id like to find a device that can be used as n udp/tcp based to rs232 serial based communications. Theres something similar...
Its a schilling arm. The company that manufactured it as its corporate office in davis, ca. The machine shop is in shingle springs. schilling creates something like 90% of all arms used underwater....
im excited. this sounds like fun. parallax and digikey are both AWESOME companies. I haven't worked with EETimes, but id imagine they are like parallax and digikey in philosophy.
I would LOVE to win this.
