As far as over kill, I would not agree, should the cost be similar, which they now are, I would opt for too much to start with and allow greater flexibility for expansion later.

You might want to look at the quickstart and Catalina and sphinx and propforth, etc.
It now works fine.
19.2k, 8 bits, no parity, no handshake
Did the trick.
When creating a new connection the handshake defaulted to "HARDWAGE"
I load the Hrydra with forth.
I have started Hyper terminal @ 19.2K and still no joy....
I just load forthhydra_070.binary on my hydra and all
I get is a blank screen? What am I missing?
