SSR 250vac to 380vac

Rate this Entry
I bought a smelting furnace that operates on 110v. My first burn was a disaster as I melted the ssr. The dealer sent another and that one has started to deform as well. The relay is 80-250vac to 24-380vac. The dealer went to a us manufacturer and they mailed me a relay with following 3-32vdc to 240vac 25amps. Will this relay work?

You've provided way too little information to answer your question. You need to specify how much current the furnace requires, both when cold and hot. What are you controlling the SSR with ... voltage / current / AC/DC? Where's a datasheet for the SSR? It probably will work at 110VAC if it's rated for 240VAC, but, if the datasheet doesn't say it, it isn't so.
