IR Detector Timing Discrepancy

Gentlemen - -

I have been working on a project using the basic IR Detector Circuit as listed for the Boe-Bot & Sumo-Bot with the Vishay TSOP4838 IR Receiver.· The Datasheet Link is:· http://www.vishay.com/docs/82090/tsop48xx.pdf

Upon·originally breadboarding and testing·the circuit, I found that the IR Detector would not operate with the
Freqout x, 1, 38500 command, but, would perform at Freqout x, 2, 38500.

Consequently, my project has two IR Detectors operating fine at Freqout x, 2, 38500.· However, upon adding
the third detector, it will only operate at Freqout x, 1, 38500.

Has anyone else experienced this??

My thought is that the 1 millisecond difference·is a normal manufacturing tolerance.

Thanks,
Jim

    Gentlemen - -

Disregard my earlier question - - I have discovered the cause and solution to the problem. Just not enough
resistance on the power input, and, not enough resistance in the signal output.

The detectors now work at the 1 ms timing.

    Sorry for the inconvience.
