Again, please excuse a newbie question.
Is there a simulator program into which I could enter my BoeBot programs, then run on simulator·so that I could see on screen that the program caused the BoeBot to do what I wanted.??·

From your description it should be what you were looking for.· I can't remember where, but I saw a demo of the software somewhere, and it looked pretty interesting...I think it was from the program author's website.
