is the power to the servo motor and electronics together or seperate?

    A standard hobby servo has three connections: 1) Power, 2) Ground, 3) Signal in. Since there is a single power input, one must assume the designers have protected the electronics inside from motor noise.

    What I really wanted to know is, is it possible to use the electronics with a larger motor..like making a giant servo?

    Probably not; better to buy a pre-built servo the size your project requires.

    Check with the various servo manufacturers (Google is your friend) -- I don't have any personal needs so I don't know a supplier off-hand. That said, I have seen servos as large as motorcycle batteries (I think the ones I saw were from Grand Wing Servo), so I know they're out there.
