Hi,

I was using a BPI-216 serial display from Seetron and I switched to a VFD display from Noritake.· It's a serial display, 1X14, and runs at 9600.· Does anyone know where I can find sample codes to get this thing to work?

Thanks,

Chris

If it runs the Hitachi communications standard then your code shouldn't be any different (less the 2line display).

Might have to change your baud rate.

Have you already interfaced the BPI display?

    Yeah,

I kind of thought I would have this problem so I just wrote a simple code to say "hello" with the BPI, made sure it worked and then took the Noritake and tried it.· This is a brand new display but I was hoping it worked like thier other displays.·

I'm just thinking about my displays.· I'm pretty sure they either run at 2400 or 9600.

you might want to check your baud rate as a quick start!
