  Those early pioneers of the computer-on-a-chip (4004, 8008, 8080, 6800, 6502, Z80, 1802) certainly shook up the industry. Nowadays we wouldn’t call them a computer on a chip, but just prior to these, chips with a combined UART Transmitter and Receiver were considered state of the art.
  
  It has come to that time when these great guys who changed history are old and life comes to an end. It’s sad to lose another. RIP Chuck. Time to join some of the others who have passed.
