Prop Plug LED(s) meaning?

There is a red LED and a blue LED.
I've searched the site and the Prop Plug documentation at https://parallax.com/product/32201

  • Check out the FT232 data sheet. Red is bits recieved and Blue is bits trasmitted

    I'm looking for clues to Propeller IDE failure to download (to a Spinerette, running in Ubuntu).

    Both flash.

    It's probably dialout error, but I've not yet run through the steps to track it down.
    I'm running propellerIDE from the terminal to see the reports from propeller-manager.

    Just wanted to add the meaning of the LEDs to what I'm presently seeing..

    (again eta) ... and I wanted to note it in my own user-manual-journal.
    Just something I do..
    Now I got it.

  • The propeller downloader also uses one of the handshake pins to reset the chip (there is no LED for this). TX and RX alone won't work.
