    downforeveryoneorjustme shows it as up right now but I cannot get it to open from any browser on two separate net connections (corporate fiber and secured DSL). Both come back with timeout errors. So, the site may respond to ping given the impression that it is "up" but the server may not be serving anything up.

    hmm... I wonder where it is hosted ? Gives a 'diptrace.com took too long to respond' report from here.
    I had a similar strange effect a few weeks ago with MCU vendor http://www.syncmos.com.tw/
    That would appear as ok in downforeveryoneorjustme, but would timeout from here, but I was able to connect with a virtual web node, so I wondered if they had some country or region blocking going on, as a coarse protection against DOS attacks ?
    In the last couple of weeks http://www.syncmos.com.tw/ has worked fine, so it was temporary, whatever the cause.

    www.diptrace.com works for me, it resolves to https://diptrace.com.
