SimpleIDE - Need bot connected to compile?

Does anyone know if there is a way to compile code on the SimpleIDE without having my Activity Bot attached?
I would love to write code without having the bot with me at all times. I see there is a way to test in the terminal but I have not been able to figure out yet if I can do so without connecting my bot.

    If you just want to compile the code you can do so by clicking on the hammer icon. If you want to run the code without hardware you need a simulator, such as Gear or spinsim. However, the simulators won't help in testing servos or anything else connected to the pins.

    Ah, I see. I can test the math/logic later. I simply want to be able to continue to code when the bot is not directly next to me.
