I'm in Portland, Oregon area.

Trade? Cash? Let's talk, if you have one of these in decent running condition.

    Bump...

Ok, how about ANY high-resolution NTSC monitor? AMDEK, etc...

I have an extra Amber Composite monitor by COMREX CR-5400 that I no longer need. It works well and still looks good. It would like to get $20 out of it but am open to trades, If you let me know your ZIP code I can get an estimate to see if it would be worth shipping.

I have been posting to Craigslist. No luck yet.

That amber screen might be just the ticket. It's composite input NTSC right? There are some tricks I want to try... (evil grin) I'm in Forest Grove, Oregon 97116

$20 works for me. Let me know what the shipping damage is. Are you in Detroit, by chance? (googled the monitor to see what it was like and saw a listing)

The monitor does have composite input for NTSC video. I'll get an estimate on shipping this evening.

Thanks a bunch RobotWorkshop! (we will complete things in a PM)

To all others: I'm leaving this open. For nostalgia reasons, I still want a Monitor /// to complete the Apple //e system for the long haul. If you run across one...

This amber one looks great for the technical reasons I am interested in. Can't wait! All of mine back in the day were grey (well, really light blue, but that's academic) and green. Never had an amber screen.

Well, I could use an extra one. Getting close to some experiments with the slots... Might be nice to have a backup, hackable one so I don't cook the //e platinum. Another machine, with some extra wires, fixes, etc... mixed in would be golden. Call it the "development" or "testing" rig!
